Once you’re approved for your new RBC credit card, please allow up to 48 hours for your new credit card to appear in the RBC Mobile app and then you will be able to add your card to Apple Pay.

To be eligible, you must be enrolled in RBC Online BankingLegal Disclaimer 3 in order to use your new credit card with Apple Pay. Once you apply for your new RBC personal credit card (excluding the RBC RateAdvantage Visa) you will need to open or download the RBC Mobile app and sign in using your Client Card number (or username) and password. If you are eligible, you will see the option to add your new credit card to Apple Pay in the app within 48 hours after approval.

You are protected with Zero Liability protection, which means you are not liable for fraudulent charges — provided you have taken reasonable precautions to protect your PIN and your card, as set out in your RBC Royal Bank Credit Card Agreement.
