From the My Accounts page on your RBC Online Banking Home Page:

Go to your Account Details

  1. Go to your Profile & Accounts Settings and select “Preferences”
  2. Select "Manage Document Preferences" on the preferences page
  3. Select the Credit Card account you would like to change to eStatements on the Manage Document Preferences page
  4. Select “Electronic” then “Next” and follow the Statement Option prompts

From the Accounts Overview page in your RBC Mobile Banking App:

  1. Tap “More” in the bottom Navigation Bar
  2. Tap “Settings”
  3. Scroll to Services and tap “Statements”
  4. Tap on the credit card account you would like to change to eStatements
  5. Tap "Electronic” then “Apply Changes” and follow the Statement Option prompts

You will receive a confirmation once your request is complete

When you enroll for RBC credit card eStatements, you may receive one last paper statement in the mail depending on your billing cycle. You can choose to switch back to paper statements at any time.

Your payment due date can be found on your monthly statement, or on the account details page within RBC Online Banking or the RBC Mobile app. If you’re still not sure when your payment is due, call us at 1-800-769-2512.

You can make a payment through any of the methods below:
  • RBC Online Banking
  • RBC Mobile app
  • automated payments (so you’ll never need to worry about making your payment on time)
  • by phone
  • by mail
  • in person at an RBC branch
  • at an RBC Royal Bank ATM

If you suspect that your RBC Royal Bank credit card has been used without your knowledge or consent, you can dispute a credit card transaction or report a fraudulent transaction through RBC Online Banking or the RBC Mobile app.
If you attempt to make a purchase that exceeds your credit limit, your purchase may be declined. If the purchase is approved, you may be charged a $29.00 overlimit fee depending on the card you have and where you reside. If you’d like to increase your credit limit, please make a request.
It’s the number of days between when your statement is issued and when your payment is due. You can avoid interest charges by paying your balance in full any time before or on your statement due date.
As of August 31, 2018, RBC Royal Bank will no longer provides or accepts credit card cheques. Please destroy any unused RBC credit card cheques that you still have on hand. If you’d like more information on how to make a payment using your RBC personal or business credit card account, please call customer service at 1-800-769-2512. As another option, you can make a cash advance through RBC Online Banking, an RBC ATM or RBC Branch.
You can view your recent transactions in RBC Online Banking or the RBC Mobile app for any account. For older transactions, you can view your statements for the past 7 years by selecting the Statements/Documents icon in your account summary.
Easily pay your credit card bill through the RBC Mobile app or RBC Online Banking. If you don’t have RBC Online Banking, enroll in RBC Online Banking today.

Once you’ve earned enough Avion points, you can use your RBC Online Banking account or the RBC Mobile app to pay your credit card bill with points.

RBC Online Banking
Simply select the Payback with Points option and your points will be applied towards your account balance.

RBC Mobile App
Simply select the Pay Credit Card with Points option and your points will be applied towards your account balance.

Instead of manually paying off your credit card balance every month, you can set up automatic payments. With automatic payments, you can choose which account you want to use and what type of payment you want to make every month – the Minimum Payment or the full amount (New Balance).

Choose one of the following options:

RBC Online Banking:
  • Sign into Online Banking
  • From the main navigation, go to Profile & Account Settings
  • Find the Your debit and credit cards section
  • Go to your credit card and select Set up automatic payments
  • Follow the on-screen instructions
The RBC Mobile app:
  • Open the RBC Mobile app
  • Select the credit card you’d like to pay from on the Manage Cards page
  • Follow the on-screen steps

  • Log into RBC Online Banking
  • From the Banking tab, go to the applicable credit card
  • Go to the Statement/Documents link

Mobile App

  • Log into the RBC Mobile app
  • From the Banking tab, go to the applicable credit card
  • Go to the Details tab
  • Go to the View Statements link
