Error Messages

Error messages will appear on your reports to notify you when issues occur with your transactions. The messages themselves contain a maximum length of 60 characters. The error messages appearing on your reports will not include the numeric code associated with them, only the description will show up.

However, the numeric codes are included in your data files (these files contain your transaction information, including payments, reversed items and returned items). If you are using data files for automatic updates, you will require the numeric error message codes for programming.
