Send Multiple Payments from a Single File
Payables Direct is an effective way for large business clients, who are already users of EDIlegal disclaimer 1 or ISO20022legal disclaimer 2 XML, to electronically submit multiple payment instructions to RBC in a single file or transmission. These payments can be for ACHlegal disclaimer 3 Direct Deposits, ACH Direct Payments, Wire payments, FEDIlegal disclaimer 4, Cheque Issuance with/without Payee Match. With this service clients are able to efficiently submit payments 24/7 allowing for improved cash flow management and forecasting.
Integrated Payables Direct (IPD) is a new version of RBC's Payables Direct service. Like the legacy Payables Direct service, IPD allows large business clients to provide multiple payment types in a single industry-standard ISO 20022legal disclaimer 1 XML file and send fax and email remittances to the payment receiver (enhanced).
IPD also supports ACHlegal disclaimer 2 Direct Deposits for domestic payroll and vendor payments, ACH Direct Payments for domestic collections, Wire Payments, Business Document Solutions for Cheque Issuance, Payee Match and RBC International Pay for international and cross-border ACH.
With this new service, clients are able to efficiently submit payments 24/7 Host-to-Host through Network Gateway or SWIFT FileAct, or online using RBC's new Bulk File Transfer service. IPD also provides clients with the ability to approve submitted files using the Bulk File Transfer service and RBC will keep clients up to date with the latest payment status.
