When a country experiences a tragedy, we are all affected in some way. Following the floods in Bosnia, Serbia and Croatia, thousands of Canadians have reached out to support those struggling to recover from this devastating event.
We want to make it easier for you to send your support. From May 15 to July 30, 2014, we will refund the $13.50 service fee when you use the RBC® International Money Transfer service to send money(1) online to family and friends in Bosnia, Serbia and Croatia(2). With RBC International Money Transfers you can send up to $2,500 Canadian dollars per day.
For your convenience, fees will be automatically reimbursed(3) to your account – no need to visit a branch to show us that you made the transaction.

RBC Foundation announced a $50,000 donation to the Canadian Red Cross to support relief efforts for those affected by the worst floods to hit the Balkans in living memory.
1) Must be enrolled in RBC Online Banking® and have either an RBC Royal Bank® chequing or savings account. Some restrictions may apply. Cannot remit funds from a US dollar account, or the RBC High Interest eSavings® account.
2) Maximum of $2,500 Canadian or Canadian equivalent dollars per transaction per day. Not available to recipients in Canada and restricted countries.
3) Service fees will be reimbursed shortly after the end of each month and will appear on your account statement. Additional service fees by any intermediary and receiving bank may apply. Currency conversion and conversion fees may also apply. The financial institution on the receiving end of the transaction may have other requirements.
