Royal Bank of Canada (RY on TSX and NYSE) (“RBC”) announced today that it will re-open its doors on Saturdays with a new banking service for clients, beginning July 17, 2021. Saturday banking will initially be offered at RBC’s Cable Beach, Prince Charles, and Carmichael Road branches.

RBC’s Saturday Banking services will now focus on helping clients with more complex advice-oriented needs like mortgages, loans, lines of credit, and savings. On Saturdays, cash will only be available through ATMs and deposits can only be made at ATMs and through the Non-Stop Depository Service. In addition, clients may also use Saturday hours to come to the branch to speak with a representative to get more comfortable with digital banking, the RBC mobile app, and RBC’s ATMs.
