The RBC Mobile Banking app runs on Blackberry Bold 9700, 9000, BlackBerry Curve 8900, 8520, 8530, and BlackBerry Tour all with an OS version of 4.6 to 5.0. The app also runs on Apple iPhone and iPod Touch with an OS version of 3.0 to 4.1 as well as the iPad (OS 3.2.2).
Is the RBC Mobile Banking app offered in French?
Regardless of the language setting in your client card, just simply switch the device’s language setting to French.
Do I have to purchase the RBC Mobile Banking app?
No, the RBC Mobile Banking App is absolutely FREE to download and use. However, your wireless carrier’s data charges may apply, so it’s a good idea to consider having a data plan for your device.
What banking functions can I perform using the RBC Mobile Banking app?
You can pay bills and transfer funds from your Canadian banking accounts, check balances and details of loan, mortgage and investment accounts, and send email money transfers and locate an RBC Royal Bank branch or ATM.
Do I need to update my mobile banking settings if I get a new phone number?
No, if you get a new phone just re-download the app.
I don’t have an iPhone or BlackBerry, can I access Mobile Banking?
Yes! We’ve had a mobile web banking service since 2008. Just go to www.rbc.mobi
on your mobile device browser and start banking.

Yes, you use your existing RBC Online Banking password.
What happens if I lose my phone?
You should immediately contact your wireless carrier to have your device disabled and, to be safe, contact RBC at 1-800-769-2555 to reset your password.

Yes, RBC Mobile Banking is covered by the Online Banking Security Guarantee which protects your account against unauthorized transactions. In the unlikely event that you suffer a direct financial loss due to unauthorized activity, we will fully reimburse you, provided you have met your security responsibilities.

Just like when you bank online from your computer, there are some simple steps you should take to ensure the security of your information and protect your privacy when you use the RBC Mobile Banking app:
