To benefit from the RBC Healthcare Advantage Private Banking Plan offer, designed exclusively for members and Resident Affiliates of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (“Royal College”), you must:
- Be a member or affiliate of the Royal College in one of the following categories: Active Fellow, Fellow (with Diplomate status), Fellow (with Founder status), Retired Fellow (each a “Fellow”) or Resident Affiliate (a “Resident Affiliate”). (NOTE: The following categories are not eligible: CPD Program Participant, Subspecialist Affiliate, Diplomate (who is not a Fellow), Founder (who is not a Fellow).)NOTE: You may be required to present proof of your Royal College membership, designation and status to an RBC Private Banker electronically or at an RBC Royal Bank branch. Thereafter, RBC will also validate your Royal College membership on an ongoing basis, and you may be required to provide proof thereof upon request.

Be an RBC Private Banking client whose eligible RBC products, as set out below, are active and in good standing at all times; and Be the sole owner or a joint owner of at least one of the following RBC Private Banking personal deposit accounts: RateLink Preference® Private Banking, Private Banking®, Private Banking Enhanced Savings or Private Banking Savings; and, within the first year of opening that account, complete one of the following transactions from that account:

Have an eligible RBC personal credit card, either as a primary applicant or co-applicant, for as long as you remain an RBC Private Banking client. Eligible RBC personal credit cards vary depending on whether you are a Fellow or Resident Affiliate of the Royal College:
If you are a Fellow: An eligible RBC personal credit card is the RBC Avion Visa Infinite Privilege‡ for Private Banking card.
If you are a Resident Affiliate: Eligible RBC personal credit cards are the RBC Avion Visa Infinite, RBC Avion Visa Infinite Privilege, WestJet RBC World Elite Mastercard‡, RBC Rewards® Visa Preferred, RBC British Airways Visa Infinite or RBC Avion Visa Infinite Privilege for Private Banking cards.
Standard eligibility criteria for each card type apply.
NOTE: As a Royal College member, the requirement to have an eligible RBC personal credit card is waived for up to two years from the date you first became or become an RBC Private Banking client. During any month thereafter, if you do not have an eligible RBC personal credit card (as determined by your Royal College member designation), you will not benefit from the RBC Private Banking monthly fee rebate offer described herein, and the standard monthly fee applicable to your RBC Private Banking package will be charged.
If you are an RBC Healthcare Advantage Private Banking Plan member, you will receive a fee rebate of $125 each month on the total monthly fee applicable to your RBC Private Banking package as long as you remain an RBC Healthcare Advantage Private Banking Plan member and you continue to meet the eligibility criteria applicable to the exclusive offer for members of the Royal College as set out above. You will cease to benefit from the above-described monthly fee rebate of $125 for Royal College members should you cease or fail to meet any the eligibility criteria. This offer shall not be combined with any other personal banking account offer or promotion, except to the extent permitted under the terms and conditions of such other offer or promotion, and may be amended or withdrawn at any time. Only one monthly fee rebate of $125 each month per client, no matter how many eligible RBC Private Banking accounts you may own, whether in sole or joint ownership. Additionally, to benefit from the $125 monthly fee rebate applicable to your RBC Private Banking package’s standard monthly fee all your accounts with us must remain in good standing.
NOTE: If you hold additional personal deposit accounts in excess of the four (4) RBC Private Banking personal deposit
accounts included with the standard RBC Private Banking package, you will be charged the standard additional monthly fee applicable to each such additional account.
RBC Private Banking entitles the individual designated under an RBC Private Banking arrangement as the “Household Head” to select one (1) Primary Private Banking Account, from any of:
- RateLink Preference Private Banking;
- Private Banking;
- Private Banking Enhanced Savings;
- Private Banking Savings; or
- U.S. Personal Private Banking;
and up to three (3) eligible Personal or Business Deposit Accounts, from any of
- RBC Day to Day Banking – PRI;
- RBC Day to Day Savings – PRI;
- RBC Enhanced Savings – PRI;
- U.S. Personal Account – PRI;
- Business Current Account (CAD); or
- Business Current Account (USD)
(Additional personal or business deposit accounts may be added for applicable monthly fees.)
Subject to credit approval. As a sole or joint owner of an RBC Rate Link Private Banking Account, Private Banking Account, Private Banking Enhanced Savings Account or Private Banking Savings account (“Private Banking Account”) and the primary cardholder of one of the eligible RBC personal credit cards listed below (“Eligible Credit Card”), the annual fee of that Eligible Credit Card will be fully or partially waived (depending on the credit card you choose), every year, as long as you remain the owner of a Private Banking Account. Additional cardholders’ annual fee may also be fully or partially waived (as set out below), every year, as long as your Eligible Credit Card account remains in good standing and you remain a Private Banking Account owner. Only one Eligible Credit Card account will be eligible for the annual fee rebate(s) (full or partial) per Private Banking Account. This means that if the applicable criteria are met by more than one joint owner of a Private Banking Account, the benefit of this offer will only be provided to the primary owner of that account (plus additional cardholders as set out below). Additional conditions and restrictions apply. Additionally, if you have more than one credit card account eligible for this offer, the annual fee will only be waived (fully or partially) on one of those accounts. Additional conditions and restrictions apply. Rebates that apply to Eligible Credit Cards are: (i) partial rebate of $120 for the primary cardholder and $50 for the co-applicant on the annual fee of an RBC Avion Visa Infinite Privilege or RBC Avion Visa Infinite Privilege for Private Banking credit card, and (ii) full annual fee rebate for the primary cardholder and the additional cardholders (co-applicants and authorized users) on any of the following credit cards: RBC Avion Visa Infinite, RBC Rewards Visa Preferred, RBC British Airways Visa Infinite and WestJet RBC World Elite Mastercard. If you open an RBC Private Banking Account after you have opened your Eligible Credit Card, the rebate will be applied at your next annual renewal and will not be applied retroactively. Royal Bank of Canada reserves the right to cancel, modify or withdraw this offer at any time.
