You will have access to RBC Mobile Student Edition if you are an RBC Royal Bank client under age 22 and you do not have a RBC Small Business, RBC Direct Investing, RBC Dominion Securities, or RBC Bank (US) profile linked to your personal client profile.
As you get older, your finances may become more complex. After age 22 you will only have access to RBC Mobile.
You do not need to be in school or have a student account to use RBC Mobile Student Edition.

We’ve done our research and included the features better suited for students in RBC Mobile Student Edition. There are a few features that are not included, such as International Money Transfers and direct transfers to other RBC clients – however you can still perform these transactions when you login to RBC Online Banking.

Clients under age 18 will only have access to RBC Mobile Student Edition, whereas clients age 18-21 will have access to both RBC Mobile Student Edition and RBC Mobile through an in-app toggle.
