If you’ve already registered for CRA Direct Deposit, you don’t need to enrol again. If you haven’t enroled yet, you only need to set it up once to receive CRA payments, such as:

Avoid delays: As the events surrounding COVID-19 may impact the postal service and because many RBC branches have temporarily reduced their hours or closed, choosing CRA Direct Deposit ensures that you’ll receive your money faster.
You can register for CRA Direct Deposit as long as you have already filed at least one tax return in the past with the CRA.
To register for CRA Direct Deposit, choose one of the following options:
Sign in to RBC Online Banking.
Click on the account you’d like the funds to be deposited to, to see your account details.
Click Set Up Direct Deposit with Canada Revenue Agency located under the account name at the top of the page.
Follow the on-screen instructions.
Make sure you’ve downloaded the latest version of the RBC Mobile app and sign in.
Tap More.
Tap Settings.
Under Banking, tap CRA Direct Deposit
Follow the on-screen instructions.
Enrolling is easy and you’ll get immediate access to your banking details.
