Get 2x earn rate on the WestJet dollars earn rate for every $1 spent (“Offer”) on all purchases at eligible grocery merchants in Canada and on spend at eligible restaurants in Canada, when using your WestJet RBC World Elite Mastercard or WestJet RBC Mastercard between June 30 – September 30, 2020 (“Offer Period”). All WestJet RBC Mastercard cardholders who register for the Offer are eligible to earn the Offer subject to these terms and conditions. To participate in the Offer, you must: (i) fill out the mandatory fields, (ii) select how you wish to allocate your Offer (WestJet dollars, statement credit or Food Banks Canada donation) (“Offer Selection”), (iii) accept the Offer terms and conditions associated with the Offer at westjetrbcmc-offer.com, the registration site, and (iv) make a purchase at an eligible grocery or restaurant merchant location during the Offer Period using your WestJet RBC World Elite Mastercard or WestJet RBC Mastercard. The Offer is calculated separately and is in addition to the WestJet dollars you earn on everyday purchases on your credit card. The Offer applies up to a maximum spend of $10,000 on eligible grocery and restaurant purchases on your WestJet RBC World Elite Mastercard and WestJet RBC Mastercard during the Offer Period. Any spend above $10,000 will earn at the standard earn rate. No minimum spend threshold per transaction is required.

Cardholders with the WestJet RBC World Elite Mastercard can earn an additional 1.5% bonus on eligible purchases.

Cardholders with the WestJet RBC Mastercard can earn an additional 1% bonus on eligible purchases.

Eligible Merchants

You can earn the Offer on purchases at these eligible grocery merchants in Canada: Real Canadian Super Store, Sobeys, Safeway, Save-on-Foods, Metro, Loblaws, IGA, Food Basics Canada, Fortinos, Freshco, Maxi, No Frills, Provigo, Super C, T & T Supermarket, Walmart, and Zehrs. Purchases at grocery merchants whose primary business is not grocery sales (including wholesale clubs, alcohol retailers, and general merchandise retailers) do not qualify for the Offer in this category.

You can also earn the Offer at eligible restaurants in Canada. Eligible restaurants are classified under Mastercard merchant category codes 5812 and 5814 and includes Boston Pizza, Cactus Club Café, Denny’s, Earls, East Side Mario’s, IHOP, Milestones Grill & Bar, Montana’s Cookhouse, Moxie’s, Nando’s, Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Red Robin, St. Hubert, Swiss Chalet, The Keg, White Spot and many fast food outlets: A&W, Burger King, Dairy Queen, Domino’s Pizza, Harvey’s, KFC, Little Caesar’s Pizza, McDonald’s, Panago, Pizza Hut, Pizza Nova, Pizza Pizza, Popeye’s, Starbuck’s, Subway, Tim Horton’s, and Wendy’s. Food delivery orders at eligible restaurants through Uber Eats and DoorDash are eligible. Food delivery orders placed through Skip the Dishes are not eligible. Purchases at restaurant merchants whose primary business is not food sales (including bars, taverns, cocktail lounges, and nightclubs) do not qualify for the Offer in this category. The Offer is not applicable on purchases in other categories. Eligible restaurants may be subject to change and the above list of eligible restaurants is not exhaustive.

Purchases made through a third-party or on an online marketplace (with multiple retailers) will not be eligible for the Offer.

Offer Registration

You will be considered registered and opted-in for this Offer once you have made your Offer Selection (WestJet dollars, statement credit, Food Banks Canada donation) at westjetrbcmc-offer.com and accepted the Offer terms and conditions. Maximum one Offer Selection per cardholder. Mastercard reserves the right to refuse to carry out the bonus Offer if it deems the grocery or restaurant merchant is ineligible based on their merchant code.

The registration form will collect your card number, WestJet Reward ID, Offer Selection and consent/acknowledgement to participating in the Offer for the sole purpose of confirming registration for and administering the Offer. By registering your credit card in connection to this offer, you authorize Mastercard to monitor transactions made with your registered credit card in order to: a) identify eligible transactions that you have made during the offer window, b) determine whether the conditions for a rebate to be credited to your registered credit card have been met, and c) enable the credit of the rebate on your registered credit card. The transaction data monitored will be used solely for the purpose of enabling participation in the offer, enable to processing of the rebate, and to assess results of the offer program.

If you obtain a new card due to it being lost or stolen, you will need to visit westjetrbcmc-offer.com to add the new card to the Offer. Customer’s account must be open and in good standing at the time of purchase and statement credit.

Offer Selection

Each cardholder may select only one of the following options for the allocation of the Offer: A) WestJet dollars, B) Statement credit or C) Food Banks Canada donation. Offer Selection cannot be changed once it is made.

A): The bonus WestJet dollars will be deposited into your WestJet Rewards account on a monthly basis, up to 6-8 weeks after eligible purchases are made. For WestJet dollars terms and conditions visit: westjet.com/rewards.

B): The statement credit(s) will be applied to your credit card statement(s) based on your credit card statement cycle. Please allow up to 6-8 weeks after purchase for the statement credit(s) to be applied to your account dependent on your statement cycle. May only be used as described and has no monetary or other exchange value.

C): Donation will be made to Food Banks Canada by Royal Bank of Canada within 60 days of the end of the Offer. Donations are non-refundable, non-transferrable and the cardholder will not receive a tax receipt.

This Offer may not be combined or used in conjunction with any other offer. WestJet and RBC reserve the right to change or withdraw this Offer at any time.

Collection and Use of Personal Information

By registering for this Offer you agree to the following collection, use, sharing, and retention of information you provide in connection with the Offer, including transactions processed on your registered WestJet RBC Mastercard:

For the purpose of administering the Offer, you consent to Mastercard International Incorporated (“Mastercard”) collecting your WestJet RBC Mastercard card number, WestJet Reward ID, Offer Selection and your consent to participating in the Offer. You also consent to Mastercard using your information provided to: (i) identify eligible transactions that you have made during the Offer Period, (ii) determine whether the conditions for the Offer have been met, (iii) facilitate awarding of your Offer, and (iv) provide certain data set out below to WestJet and Royal Bank of Canada in connection with this Offer. Mastercard will use the data collected solely for the purpose of enabling your participation in and administration of the Offer as described in these terms and conditions.

You consent to WestJet and Royal Bank of Canada collecting and using the following information about you from Mastercard: WestJet Rewards ID number, date the transaction is posted to your credit card account, your credit card type (WestJet RBC Mastercard or WestJet RBC World Elite Mastercard), the amount of bonus WestJet dollars donation amount or RBC statement credit earned on each eligible transaction, and date and time of your registration. WestJet will collect and use this information where you have selected bonus WestJet dollars or Food Banks Canada donation as your Offer Selection. Royal Bank of Canada will collect and use this information where you have selected statement credit as your Offer Selection. You further consent to Royal Bank of Canada and WestJet sharing your WestJet Rewards ID number and the total value of WestJet dollars, donation amount or statement credits received on your credit card account during the Offer Period.

Any data received by WestJet or Royal Bank of Canada in connection with this Offer will be used to administer and validate the award of the Offer and for the purpose of creating statistical and anonymized reports and analysis in accordance with the respective recipient’s privacy policies, available at westjet.com/privacy for WestJet and here for Royal Bank of Canada.
